Briar Bank is a fantastic example of a Victorian house and the ideal place to stay for those looking for a home from home getaway. This characterful property retains many original features, including cornicing, traditional high ceilings and decorative fireplaces. The lounge is furnished with comfortable sofas and makes the perfect place for guests to kick back and unwind after a day exploring the Island. Should opinions be divided on what film to watch during evenings in, there is an option to decamp to the second reception room; which also has a sofa bed, for two. Follow the hall along to the back of the house, you arrive in the semi open-plan kitchen diner. The dining table is conveniently located adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen area, but being tucked around a corner means the nominated chef can eat without seeing the mess left in the kitchen! The breakfast bar is handy for more informal or on the hoof eating, whilst a separate utility room hides the washing machine and tumble dryer. A ground floor WC opposite the utility room is an added bonus for those who don't want to dash upstairs when the need arises. Upstairs there are three comfortable bedrooms, starting with a spacious master with a super king bed and a large bay window, which makes this room wonderfully light and airy. The final room is the smallest, with bunk beds that are only suited to children.
