The Garden Apartment is one of two beautifully appointed properties in the grounds of The Old Vicarage that sits right next to the cliff path with stunning mature landscaped gardens and spectacular sea views. Boasting 4 bedrooms and accommodating up to 10 guests a pretty garden room and a games room, there is plenty of space for all the family to relax at the end of a busy day exploring the Island.
LOCATION
On the beautiful southeast coast of the Isle of Wight, Shanklin is a popular seaside town renowned for its golden sandy beaches. With neighbouring towns Sandown and Ventnor, it’s the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway. The vibrant promenade is lined with amusements, refreshing eateries, and a variety of pubs and restaurants, including a charming thatched pub right on the beach, next to the famous Shanklin Chine.
Shanklin offers the best of both worlds with two distinct areas. The Garden Apartment is a picturesque gem, featuring quaint thatched cottages, delightful tearooms, and charming restaurants. Meanwhile, the more modern part of Shanklin is home to a popular theatre, where you can enjoy performances by locals, national and international artists.
Just a short walk from the main town centre, the apartment is perfectly located near an array of independent shops, supermarkets, and amenities, making it easy to explore everything Shanklin has to offer.
Nearby attractions include Shanklin Chine, Dinosaur Isle and Sandham Gardens High Ropes at Sandown. A visit to the Island is not complete without a visit to near by Godshill the chocolate box village or the seaside home of Queen Victoria, the magnificent Osborne House in East Cowes.

GROUND FLOOR
As you enter the magnificent property at ground level you are welcomed into the hall off which leads a fabulous kitchen offering an elecric aga and a freestanding oven in which cook up some memorable family meals, a dinning room, games room, wc and a double bedroom. This level also has the gorgeous garden room with stunning views out to sea.
LOWER GROUND FLOOR
The lower ground floor has 1 double bedroom and further 2 rooms each with 3 single beds.
OUTSIDE
Large gardens offer plenty of space for outside dining or just to soak up the coastal vista.
To side of the property there is parking for 3 cars
WHEN BOOKING THE UPPER APARTMENT ALONGSIDE THE GARDEN APARTMENT, THE TWO UNITS CAN COMFORTABLY ACCOMMODATE UP TO 20 GUESTS. THE UPPER APARTMENT MIRRORS THE SAME LAYOUT, ENSURING A SPACIOUS EXPERIENCE FOR ALL GUESTS.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES
PLEASE NOTE: A pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit of £300 will be required before arrival at the property. No money will be taken unless any damage is reported at the property within 14 days of your departure.
There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost.
