And when you're ready to call it a night, the coastal inspired double bedroom is a lovely spot to unwind and enjoy a restful night's sleep.

LOCATION:
Freshwater Bay is one of the most picturesque beaches in West Wight and lies just to the South of the town of Freshwater. The beach is covered in a mixture of grey flint and chalk pebbles that make a unique sound as the waves rise and fall onto the shore. There is sand below the low water mark and some sandy areas to sit if you walk to the more eastern side of the bay. There is also a rock ledge revealed at low tide at this side, which is great for rock pooling with your kids.
Smugglers once used the caves around the bottom of the chalk cliffs that are exposed at low tide – if you wish to explore them it is best to find a local guide as you can become cut off by the tide. Kayaking is the ideal way to see them and the other small bays. This beach is popular for surfing and water sports and boats will moor offshore to come ashore. The Freshwater Independent Lifeboat is launched from this bay when required by those in trouble at sea.
Overlooking the bay is the Albion Hotel that houses a public bar or visit the Dimbola Museum and galleries for an afternoon tea.

ONE LEVEL FIRST FLOOR APARTMENT
Open plan kitchen diner & lounge: gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dining table and 4 chairs, sofa bed, coffee table and large TV (sofa bed can sleep 1 adult or 2 children)
Bedroom: double bed and side tables. Hanging space and luggage storage opposite the bathroom
Bathroom: bath with overhead shower, toilet and wash basin
OUTSIDE
Exterior stairs up to the front door, with a balcony terrace at the entrance of the apartment
Allocated parking space for 1 car to the side of the property.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES / SERVICES:
PLEASE NOTE: a pre-authorised, refundable, security deposit of £150 will be required before arrival at the property. No money will be taken unless any damage is reported at the property within 14 days of your departure.
This property offers a sofa bed in lounge which we suggest will sleep either 1 adult or 2 children. If you would like us to supply linen for its use during your stay, this can be provided at an additional cost of £35, per stay.
Please do make us aware at the time of booking / in advance of your stay if you require this service, so we can arrange to take payment and have the linen made available.
There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car, unless agreed prior with the owner of the property. If it becomes apparent a car is being charged without approval, then the guest may be charged an additional amount to cover the extra cost.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The Island Holiday Company are responsible for the full management of this property and should you need to contact us during your stay we are available between 9-5 Monday to Friday, We also operate an out of hours emergency service on the weekends - please refer to your property brochure left inside the property, for further information and contact details.
No stag or hen parties are permitted at any of our properties.
This property does not accept any more than 3 adults at any given time, this is due to the size of the sofa bed.
There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside all our properties.
No pets are allowed at this property
Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.
Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival.
A breach of the above rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

The location is excellent and a good starting point for cycling and walking.
The apartment is spacious for two people and is well-equipped. With the windows open, you're close enough to hear the waves on the shore.
